MODERNIST ARCHITECTURE IN WEST AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES
Students and recent graduates based in Ghana and Nigeria are invited to apply to the 3rd African Architecture Writing Workshop. The workshop, which will be held in both countries this year, will run from 11th to 16th June 2021 in Ghana and from 18th to 22nd June 2021 in Nigeria.
Following the 2018 and 2019 Architecture Writing Workshop, which focused on historical and contemporary architecture in Accra, the 2021 Workshop turns to modernist architecture on university campuses in West Africa.
Workshop Mentors will guide participants to develop their writing skills to write critically in academic publications and contemporary media about architecture in Africa.

— Students and recent graduates in the following fields and other related disciplines are encouraged to apply: Architecture, Urban Design, History, Social Science, Journalism, Urban Studies, Creative Writing. Applicants with demonstrable interest and experience in these fields will be considered even if they do not have academic qualifications in these fields.
— Participants must be able to travel to the following locations in either Ghana or Nigeria for the duration of the workshop.
