2019 Writing Workshop

 

The second Accra Architecture Writing Workshop took place  from 12th to 16th June 2019 in Accra, Ghana. The workshop was titled “ACCRA ARCHITECTURE: THE FUTURE OF THE PAST”, and produced researched essays around the architectural remnants of various historical periods in Accra, focusing on current use, reuse (or disuse) as well as contemporary (re)imaginings of buildings and spaces.
